just another day at the office....

I applied for a position at my job, this is the 4th time that I have done so. Every time the position has gone to an African American. I'm Hispanic so ppl say how can a African American discriminate against a Latino, if were both minorities. Well when there is a hefty raise involve and the person making the final decision is also African American, well can of makes u think.  I went to the Director of Human Resource he said he would into, well we will see. Filing a claim with my union (good luck with that one) and with the EEOC. Till next time....

Street cleaning

I was watching the city worker who post up the signs for street cleaning. This guy posted only one sign on the entire block. Is this just being a lazy a** or is it a set up by the city? Considering the financial crisis were in, I would think they will start to tap into this area. I live a mainly Hispanic area and maybe they assume that we wouldn't noticed or say anything.
